What do you think of this hike i intend of making in a couple of years?

You don't know the area well, you plan on taking a few weekend courses and it's bear and mountain lion country.You are completely inexperienced and you think you will catch all your food. Plus you will have no way of calling for help.You really think this a smart plan?
