If I were to have a baby and dcf were to declare me unfit...?

Would they just give the baby to my boyfriend, who is the child's biological father. He is stable, has a house, good job, education and comes from a good family. Just curious. I'm not a drug user, abusive etc. Genuinely just asking this question to ask it.
