Grandparent rights in FL?

First of all congradulations on your baby boy =) I just went to court because my mother in law wanted custody of my 1 year old daughter. They didn't give her custody.. moms are number 1 in the state of texas, when ishe heard that I wasn't gonna let her see the baby at all, she hired a lawyer all she did was spend a lot of money on the lawyer. If you guys go to court she might get visitation rights or she might not she's only the gramma not the mom.. so they they might not grant her with that or it will take a long time untill they sentence the visitations.. if your not to sure make an appt with a lawyer, you might need to get a lawyer. Tell the court if you ever do go that she has a drinking problem and you feel as if your kids are not safe with her. You can request supervised visits... hope I helped.. good luck..
