Abuse neglect please help... someone?

My gf is 17 years of age her mother is abusing her she has serve mark on her body. They have serve dcf case's made but no attetions has been taking. Her mother spouse has jumped on her. Her mother put her out on friday that same day she came to my house where my gf came and told my mother she didnt want her she could have her. Then saturday morning she filed as if my gf was a run away. The mother txted her and they were expressing thereself the mother came to my home and jumped on the child as if she was a complete stranger. she tried to pepper spray my gf. the police was called they let my gf go with her grandmother but the grandmother is scared of her child which is the mother. My gf called dcf they said her mother has to give up her rights or place her with a family member. the mother isnt going to do that. so what is it that can be done? she is scared for her life sooner or later she is going to come to the grandmother house in jump on her. its sad because my gf is willing to go to jail just so she wont have to go home.
